Many people in our world follow a monotheistic religion, two billion of these people following Christianity. In Brave New World they are monotheistic, but they all follow Henry Ford and worship him.
In Brave new World they have advanced the science of cloning to where they use it to clone people to form entire populations. We have already cloned a number of animals, including sheep, cows, horses, pigs, cats,mice, and many others.
In Brave New World, whole countires are induced under a drugged haze to escape the ugly face of reality. This happens in our world, but not on such a large scale. In 2007, almost 7 million people were addicted to prescription drugs(pain killers, tranquilizers, etc.) Thats as many people as there is in Hong Kong.
In Brave New World they are driven by consumerism and are very materialistic, with the hypnopaedic teachings of "the more stitches the less riches." They are brainwashed into consuming to be happy. we have become exactly the same. We must have everything new, everything expensive, as soon as it comes out. Even if its unnecesary.
